Family Circle Magazine: Move to Improve Social Media Campaign

Family Circle Magazine: Move to Improve Campaign

Social Media Design, Social Media Strategy, Analysis, and Copywriting
Tools Used: Adobe Creative Suite, Curalate

Cross-Department Teamwork

After the magazine had undergone a redesign that focused on Millennial moms raising Gen Z, Family Circle Magazine’s marketing department launched a walking challenge with Partnership for a Healthier America and Charity Miles. The art department and marketing team paired up to achieve the following campaign goals:

  • Get readers to download the Charity Miles app.

  • Help readers become more active by tracking progress on the app.

  • Engage followers through participation on social media.

Brand Consistency Across Digital and Print

Since the design department had been taking a more modern and playful approach to the magazine’s overall look and feel, I opted for a lighter and funnier approach when designing and developing copy for these social posts. The color palette used in the new magazine design was also incorporated for brand consistency between print and digital media.

Additional Campaign Deliverables

One of the deliverables that the marketing department had asked for was a Walking Playlist. I was thrilled to create one to get people moving!
